About The ArtistWhen the artist was little, she knew she wanted to do something related to the art field. Whether it be writing, singing, dancing, playing an instrument, or anything in between, all she knew was that she had that connection at a young age. However, drawing and painting were where she knew her interests were the strongest. However, her parents did caution her that the art field can be difficult to truly make a career out of. So, she thought of some possible different routes for her future, like becoming a dentist, or a pediatrician - which, by the way, science is interesting yes, but not for her. Art is something she has truly felt connected with and seeing the work and process of a new piece unravel is truly an exhilarating feeling no matter what challenges she comes across. She wants to bring back the joy of art in an era that fast paced, to show the beauty of slowing down. She takes it all as an opportunity to learn, explore, and experiment on how can she improve her work, what is it that the artwork is missing? A life without art is a rather dull life in her eyes.
Currently, she is attending Shepherd University in the fine arts, and the business administration programs, and she could not be more blessed to have the opportunity to grow in her environment with the tight-knit community of Shepherdstown. |
